I have a limited number of punchdown tools
available for rental. If you don't feel the need to own a
punchdown tool after you finish your installation, renting
one instead of buying a new one could save you some money.
Rental punchdown tools will be a Paladin 3570 (like those
offered for sale above), Harris D814, or similar impact
punchdown tool in good working order. Rented punchdown tools will not include a blade. When renting a tool you must purchase a 66, 110, or Combo 66/110 blade here. Orders to rent a tool that do not include the purchase of a blade will be canceled after they are received and an email will be sent advising to resubmit the order.  When you place an order to rent a punchdown tool you will be charged a $14.95 rental fee and a $36.50 deposit, plus the cost of the blade. The tool will be shipped to you by Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Your 30 days begins on the day USPS package tracking indicates you receive the shipment. Finish your telephone wiring project and ship the tool back within 30 days. Returned tools must be in working order. You do not need to return the blade, it is yours to keep. No credit will be given for blades returned in a rental tool. You are responsible for return shipping charges. You must ship the tool on or before the 30th day by Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation or by UPS Ground, to ensure return delivery time is less than 15 days and to permit delivery tracking. If the tool is shipped for return within 30 days, your $36.50 deposit will be refunded within 3 business days of receipt of the return shipment. If for any reason it is not possible to issue your refund to the account used to place the order, the refund will be made by check sent to the shipping address for the order. If the tool is shipped for return between 30 and 60 days, your deposit refund will be reduced to $20. No deposit refund will be issued if the tool is not shipped for return within 60 days.  One of the biggest limitation on doing
your own telephone work is not having the necessary test
equipment. Even the least expensive Butt-in Test Set costs
about $150 and a Toner/Probe Set is about $100. Not bad if
you need it on a regular basis, but real expensive if you
only need them once in your life. If you can do your own
phone work you can easily save several hundred dollars. If
you have to spend over $250 on test equipment, the savings
are not nearly as great. By renting a Test Equipment Set you
can minimize your cost and save a pile of money by doing your
own phone work.I have a limited number of Test Equipment Sets available for rental. If you don't feel the need to own a Butt-in Test Set and a Toner/Probe Set, consider renting a Test Equipment Set. Rental Test Equipment Sets will be a Harris TS19 or similar butt-in test set and a Progressive 701K or similar toner/probe set, both in good working order.  When you place an order to rent a Test Equipment Set you will be charged a $54.95 rental fee and a $210 deposit.
